The production of pipe type D takes place according to DIN 16965, part 4. The strength of the chemical protective coating amounts at least 2.5 mm.

The protective coating consists of two layers C-glass fleece or synthetic fleece and at least three layers glass mats. The outside layer is made up of glass fleece and a weatherproofed resinous layer of 0.2 mm.
